You make a good living, but can’t fathom how you are going to save up enough money to send your kid to college. This web service is dedicated to helping you send your kid to college, by giving you a fundraising platform. It’s easy and it’s free, just follow the steps below and watch the quick tutorial video. Whenever a major event happens in your life or your child’s life, preempt it with a fundraising email for your kids college fund. For example, you know their birthday is coming up, instead of receiving a bunch of gifts your kid doesn’t want and you have to take back, send out a fundraising email instead. Donating to your kids college fund is a much better gift and it is a forward thinking reward that helps set them up for success in the future.
Steps to getting started:
- Register and create your profile here: http://www.sendmykid.com/register
- Manage Lists -> Create a mailing list and import your contacts, the names of people you want to send fundraising emails to, into a spreadsheet, and save as a .csv file.
- Send Fundraising Email to your newly created mailing list.
- When you receive a donation, send it off to your college savings account. SendMyKid doesn’t invest or manage your money for you, that is up to you.
