Public Schools Month is just around the corner and there is a way to get involved to support it. The California Masons will be kicking it off with a celebration in San Jose.
Support for public schools is an important strategic plan initiative – and it requires participation from everyone in order to succeed. Please show your commitment to your local public schools by joining us for the South Bay Public Schools Month kickoff event on April 5.
On behalf of the California Mason fraternity, Grand Secretary Allan Casalou will be presenting district officials with a check for $142,000 in support of local students and teachers.
This generous donation – raised by Masons throughout our state – will provide crucial educational support for our public schools programs:
- Bringing award-winning literacy programing to at-risk kindergarten classrooms through the Raising A Reader Literacy Partnership
- Giving deserving high school seniors a chance to attain a college education through the Investment in Success scholarship program
Let’s use this opportunity to meet our community and show that we are making a profound difference for public education!
